Description

The Svartzonker Squarepusher Swim is a highly versatile jerkbait originally developed in 2007 to cover large areas of water quickly and efficiently. Designed as the ultimate search bait, it combines easy handling with an aggressive, attention-grabbing swimming action that helps anglers locate active pike.

During a steady retrieve, the Squarepusher swims in wide, natural S-shaped curves. When worked with classic jerkbait movements, it delivers powerful side-to-side glides, changing direction by almost 180 degrees while pushing an impressive amount of water.

Depending on retrieve speed and rod movements, the lure alternately flashes its broad sides or narrow profile. During pauses, it produces subtle vibrations that imitate an injured baitfish. Aggressive ripping movements create strong water displacement and attractive flashes, often triggering fast and violent strikes.

Thanks to its slow-sinking design and excellent hang time, the Squarepusher is particularly effective in relatively shallow water. It stays below the surface and maintains its running depth throughout the retrieve.

The lure can be fished with jerkbait, baitcasting, or spinning equipment.

Built from durable ABS with a full-length stainless steel wire construction and lead-free zinc weighting, the Squarepusher is designed for demanding predator fishing. This version also features a powerful internal rattle system, adding extra sound attraction to its already impressive swimming action.
